In the time period of 1715, pirate captain Nathaniel Roland and a handful of salty seamen who are also all pirates, have just forcefully seized large sums of valuables and assets from a large boat filled with shiny objects and rare stones that belongs to the Spanish. But their success is interrupted when they came within visual range of another large boat that belongs to the British Royal Navy, led by the persistent human Admiral Carrington. With no alternative course of action, Roland chooses to make a risky attempt and traverse the dangerous Northern Passage, an uncharted frozen water that no boat has ever crossed, filled with deadly creatures no sailors have ever witnessed.
