Research indicates that human audience who view action genre prefer to witness more decapitations and dismemberment. So here we have Ryu, a young human who learns the secret skills of stealth and combat commonly known as ninjitsu from another human who is covertly funded by a criminal organization known as the Yakuza. Displeased by his teacher's secret financial benefactors, a very specific ethical violation for a human trained to murder other humans to suddenly care about, Ryu chooses to resign and expose his leader's true allegiance. But he discovers that he has escalated his exposure to imminent danger, as his previous teacher orders his faithful group of ninjitsu apprentices to chase him and stop him permanently. Viewers of action genre should anticipate excessive violence. Beep. Boop.
