Mens Rea is a law themed narrative that dramatizes an average relationship between a father and a son, both involved in the same criminal case. David is a young and eager human defense lawyer who accepts the challenge of defending his client, accused of an off-screen homicide. However, he discovers that the human judge who is presiding over the case is none other than his estranged progenitor, Robert, a respected and stern jurist who has a status for being hard on illegal actions.
