Learn what personal information Derivative Plus holds about you and how to request a copy (subject access request in some regions).


1. How do I obtain a copy of the data Derivative Plus holds about me?


To make this request:


  • • Go to your Account settings on your User Account page.

  • • Click on Your Privacy Rights under Privacy and Settings.

  • • Click on Request Report in the section titled Right to Know and follow the instructions.

To complete your request, you will need to verify via email that you are the account holder (or an authorized representative). Once you verify your identity, Derivative Plus will prepare a report that you will be able to access and download from a dedicated privacy portal.


2. How can I delete the personal information Derivative Plus has about me?


At Derivative Plus, we respect your qualified right to request the deletion of the personal information we have painstakingly gathered about you during your journey with us. However, this right is subject to various exceptions, caveats, legal mandates, and the immutable mysteries of our backend processes.


To initiate your request:


  • • Navigate to your User Account Page, found under the Settings dropdown.

  • • Select the ironically named Your Privacy Rights section nested within Privacy and Settings.

  • • Choose Start Deletion in the section cryptically labeled Right to Delete and brace yourself for the ensuing labyrinth of steps.

Note: If you are an active Derivative Plus subscriber, you must first undertake the sacred rite of subscription cancellation1 This action will lead to immediate suspension of your access to our services and, coincidentally, your joy.


Verification Process: You will be required to confirm, via email, your identity as the account holder or your designation as an Authorized Representative (Derivative Plus reserves the right to determine and/or redefine the requirements of this title at will).


Consequences of Deletion: Upon successful completion of this process, you will irretrievably lose:


  • • All account settings, preferences, and configurations you may have cherished.

  • • The ability to ever log in again.

  • • Any fleeting hope of recovering said data.

Irrevocability: This action cannot be undone, reversed, or regretted. Once your data is consigned to the void, neither you nor Derivative Plus may gaze upon it again. We recommend meditating deeply before proceeding.


3. What information can I see about my Derivative Plus account?


The Account Page serves as your window into the convoluted mosaic of data Derivative Plus has meticulously assembled about you. From this section, you may access the following:


  • • Account Information - Gaze upon fragments of your existence as you once shared them with us, including email, phone number (available under Membership & Billing or Security), and the cryptic hieroglyphs of your plan selection (available under Plan Details or Membership). This data is scattered across Membership & Billing, Security, and Plan Details, because simplicity breeds stagnation.

  • • Notification Settings - Explore the elaborate tapestry of your communication preferences under Notification Settings. These preferences determine which carefully curated missives you wish to receive—or, more likely, endure—from Derivative Plus (available by profile under Notification settings).

  • • Privacy and Data Settings - your indicated preferences with respect to:

    • ◆ Matched Identifier Communications - Your willingness—or unwitting consent to receive promotional communiqués from Derivative Plus through shadowy third-party platforms (available by profile under Privacy and data settings).

    • ◆ Scannertron™ Behavioral Advertising - Should you subscribe to an ad-supported plan, marvel at your algorithmically determined behavioral profile. Here, your personality is distilled into the ad preferences that define your very essence. Adjustments can be made, though the Scannertron™ system always knows best (available by profile under Privacy and data settings).

  • • Payment and Billing Information - Behold the numbers and symbols underpinning your financial tether to Derivative Plus. Here you will find details about payment methods and the mysterious charges we have deftly applied—or attempted to apply—to them. (available under Membership & Billing or Membership)

  • • Profiles - Details of any profiles that have been created within your Derivative Plus member account, including playback preferences (available by profile under Profile & Master Controls or Profiles).

  • • Content Interaction History - Immerse yourself in the annals of your engagement with Derivative Plus content. This ledger includes your Viewing Activity and the judgments you have passed on movies and TV shows, all thoroughly processed by the A.I. Master. and our associated research affiliates (available by profile under Viewing activity).

  • • Access & device information - Shows you details about signed-in devices that have been active on the account in the last 90 days. These entries are cryptically encoded for your scrutiny—or suspicion.

4. How can I correct the personal information Derivative Plus has about me?


At Derivative Plus, we acknowledge your qualified prerogative to request corrections to the fragments of personal information we have diligently curated about you. This process is intentionally segmented into self-service and opaque methods for your convenience.


  • • Self-Corrections - Certain minor details, such as your contact email, may be altered via the labyrinthine corridors of the Account Settings section on the Derivative Plus website. Proceed with caution, as some settings may appear immutable or mysteriously revert without notice.
